Do you have to deal with not enough room in your fridge as well? We are a military family which means whenever we move, we don’t ever know what to expect from the new housing or neither can we choose appliances. Most housing is already setup and all appliances are installed.

We are currently stationed in Okinawa, Japan, where everything is so much smaller. Our apartment has a small fridge, which was a big change for us. So, I made a plan on how to organize and clean our fridge to maximize the space and time spent maintaining it.

SPRING UPDATES AND EASY TABLE SETTING IDEAS

How long have you lived in your house? Less then three years? More than ten? We’re coming up on nine years in this house and it’s at the point where it could use some updating. No major changes (we’ve renovated all we can!), just a much needed refreshing of spaces.

As it happens, a few weeks ago eBay Canada reached out and challenged me to make the most of my budget and select products to update my home for spring. Fun! If you know me, you’ll know a) I love shopping online and b) I love getting a good deal. I’ve been shopping eBay for years and have found some of my favourite home purchases on the site (the capiz chandelier in our bedroom tops the list!) so I was eager to take on the challenge.

Art for you bedroom!

When shopping for art for the guest bedroom (or for any room, for that matter), one of my first destinations is Minted. They’re having an Anniversary sale that ends tonight which makes me want to buy all. the. things. I’ve been thinking that instead of one print, I’d like to have a pair. I really like seeing art juxtaposed together: architectural photography paired with something abstract, a figural drawing paired with soft muted lines. Here’s a few art pairs I could see working bedside:
